You, yes you, can now PRE-ORDER the new Ominous Black 10″!!! After a million people asked for it, here it is. I am so excited to release this onto the world.  Pre-orders will start tonight and close August 19th. Official release date is Tuesday, August 21st. All pre-orders will go out on Monday, August 20th.

In case you haven’t been paying attention, the record is absolutely breath-taking. literally, it made me burst out in tears. Ominous Black have created a new sound scape.  Each measure journeys into another creating new peaks and valleys you haven’t yet explored. Close your eyes, the songs take you on a psychic ride through yourself and by the end, delivers you home, anew. the album was recorded by steve albini, mastered by john golden, printed/pressed by reuben little (ocean) and features artwork by alyssa maucere.  each piece is hand packaged with all our love and includes a free digi-download card.

Ominous Black

Ominous Black is a psychedelic cosmic explosion. Their lows are deep and heavy and their highs are higher than mountains touching the ethereal planes. Their music will bring you deliverance from your solemn drought

SADGIQACEA

Recently signed to Candlelight Records. Sadgiqacea is a two-piece cosmically-blackened, sludge-doomed outfit hailing from Philadelphia. Their music can easily be described as such: Like falling into a dmt nebula and the only way out is for the vibration of yourself to throw you a rope. Their full-length debut, False Prism, due May 7th on Candlelight Records and on vinyl May 14th from Anthropic Records (on license from Candlelight)

Hivelords

Hivelords are blackened psychedelic sludge from Philadelphia. Experiencing Hivelords is much like watching an 111 year old tree getting uprooted from the earth. A windstorm of punishing riffs. Your heart pounding to ritualistic drums, and a vocalist, standing upon his alter, conjuring spirits to rip and tear the roots from your lifeless and monotonous existence. Hivelords will release their debut full-length album on Anthropic Records summer 2013.
